Olaplex is a fabulous new product that rebuilds damaged hair. It works on a molecular level to mend the broken bonds thus making it look glossy and luscious. Or as my hairdresser Imran puts it: "Imagine the hair strand is a ladder with broken rungs, Olaplex restores the rungs." In salons they mix it with your colour to give you a glossy boost, but you can buy a variation for home use. The only slight hitch is that you need to put it on unwashed towel-dried hair, so I am writing this with my slightly wet hair covered in Olaplex, which will dry into a kind of mass before I wash it out. It should stay on for an absolute minimum of ten minutes but you can leave it on as long as you like. Once it has done its work it will stop. The effects are really noticeable. I have never much liked my hair and it seems to be getting stragglier with age, when I use the treatment it is much glossier and more manageable. It's not cheap though, I would say a bottle that costs £32 lasts around a couple of months.
