Now that there's more moisture in the air (welcome to winter in London) my hair is increasingly frizzy. Yesterday my lovely hairdresser Imran at Michaeljohn in Knightsbridge gave me a couple of anti-frizz tips. One, always dry your hair with the nozzle firmly on your hairdryer, and in the direction of growth, this will keep it slick by not blowing the follicles in all directions. Two, use a natural bristle brush to style it as you dry, and always in one direction. Other tips I have picked up include using only conditioner a couple of times a week (you really don't need to shampoo your hair every time), and picking a shampoo that's high in glycerin. I would also suggest using Olaplex to restore damaged hair (see previous blog) as well as Percy Reed Wonder Treatment Oil + as a pre-shampoo treatment. You can use it post shampooing but I find my hair goes a bit lank.
